Serotek Corporation is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of FreedomBox and FreedomBox Network users. The Company understands that its subscribers and users do not want to sacrifice personal privacy for Internet access. We endeavor to provide a safe and secure environment for consumers and to protect their information.

Serotek goes to great lengths to protect the privacy of its users, however we can only attempt to insure the security of our own Network. Users who access the Web via the FreedomBox Network do so at their own risk and are subject to the policies and controls of each site they visit.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to describe the kinds of information we may gather about users when they visit the FreedomBox Network, how we may use that information, whether we will disclose it to anyone, and the choices consumers have regarding our use of the collected information.

Information About FreedomBox Network Visitors

The FreedomBox Network service automatically gathers certain usage information such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to the FreedomBox Network and its services. Information About Individual Users

No specific subscriber's name, email address or other personal information will be used for any purpose other than FreedomBox communication and billing, without the subscriber's individually expressed consent. Subscribers are given an opportunity to "opt in" to the use of their name, address and personal data in total or in part. Users who "opt in" may receive information to let them know of additional products and services which might be of interest. Serotek may ask for information about user interests so that we can tailor offerings and personalize on-line experiences. The user always has the option of whether to respond.

Disclosure

We will only disclose to outside sources the information that users specify when they "opt-in." As an exception, Serotek may need to disclose certain private information to related third parties who perform critical business services. In these cases, Serotek will only provide the requisite information to complete the critical business services. Serotek will not intentionally monitor or disclose any private e-mail message or online communication, but we reserve the right to investigate any accounts that are believed to be acting in violation of our service agreement or any law or regulation. We also reserve the right to monitor any user suspected of violating the integrity of our services or the Internet community as a whole.

Serotek is committed to protecting the safety and privacy of young people using our services. Our Network services are not directed toward children and we do not knowingly wish to collect personal information from children. We reserve the right to update our privacy policy and users should refer to the FreedomBox Network home page for recent modifications to this policy. It is our policy to divulge to subscribers what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it. Serotek will not use any personal information collected for purposes other than those stated at the time of collection without securing prior subscriber permission.
